Refund Policy

This policy explains how refunds are calculated and processed for both one-time orders and memberships. It works alongside our Returns Policy.

How refunds are issued

Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method through Stripe, in USD. Once we approve a refund it is typically processed within 2 business days; your bank or card issuer may take a further 5–10 business days to show it.

One-time orders

For eligible unopened, in-date returns (see the Returns Policy), we refund the price of the returned items once received and checked. Original shipping is refunded only where the return is due to our error or a damaged/faulty item. For damaged, incorrect or short-dated deliveries, we refund or replace at our cost without requiring a return.

Memberships (Larder Club & Reserve)

Membership fees are recurring and generally non-refundable for the current period once billed; you keep your benefits until the period ends and can cancel future renewals any time through the Stripe customer portal. If a Reserve quarterly box has not yet been dispatched and you cancel, contact us and we will review a pro-rata adjustment. A box already dispatched is not refundable unless it arrives damaged or incorrect.

Order cancellations

If you cancel before dispatch, we refund in full. If the order has already shipped, the Returns Policy applies.

Duties and taxes

Import duties, taxes or customs charges already paid to a destination country are not refundable by us, as they are levied by that country’s authorities.

If something is wrong, please contact support@billhurst.shop first — we aim to resolve refund questions quickly and fairly, consistent with Stripe’s refund and dispute guidance and the laws of England and Wales.
